The investigation into a fire that occurred on Friday in the 200 block of Stechishin Crescent has concluded. A fire investigator has confirmed the fire to be accidental; however, an exact cause is unavailable; approximately $100,000 in damage occurred.

Multiple 911 calls came into the Saskatoon Fire Department Friday Afternoon at around 2:16 p.m. regarding a fire to a garage attached to a residence in the 200 block of Stechishin Crescent. The first of three fire engines dispatched to the scene found the garage to be fully involved with heavy smoke and flames exiting the structure. The fire was brought under control at about 3 p.m. All occupants of the house were able to self-evacuate the residence.
