The Saskatoon Police Service, Saskatoon Fire Department and Medavie Health Services attended a call of a man in a construction site Saturday at 5:42 p.m. at Broadway Avenue and Main Street. When officers arrived, they located a male who had climbed up a tower crane. The Police Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT) was called to the scene and were able to speak with the man, and convinced him to climb down from the crane.

A 25 year old-man was taken into custody and transported to hospital as a precaution.
