Sunday was a big day for Saskatchewan in the fight against COVID-19. There were no new cases reported in the province, and 12 recoveries.
With the amount of recoveries in the province now at 623, there are only 16 cases currently considered active out of the 650 that have been reported. There is one person in hospital, currently in intensive care, in Saskatoon.
Numbers in the far north have dropped significantly with only 8 active cases in that region. The Saskatoon area has 2 active cases out of the 170 that have been reported.
So far in the month of June, there have been only 5 new cases of COVID-19.
