31 year old Garnet Pinske of Preeceville is facing a raft of charges following an incident with Humboldt RCMP. On Monday, around 6:45 in the evening, RCMP were called to a grocery store parking lot off Highway 5, west of the community. As they were conducting a traffic stop, the driver fled the scene in his vehicle, heading eastbound. Pinske was later found by Canora RCMP and arrested. He is to appear in Yorkton Provincial Court today (wed) on a variety of charges including Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Flight while being Pursued, and Resisting Arrest. There was also a warrant for his arrest on charges from Canora. Humboldt RCMP are asking the public for any video they may have of the incident; contact Humboldt Detachment or Crime Stoppers.
