Saskatoon Police say a 31 year old woman has been arrested and charged with Assault Causing Bodily Harm and Forcible Confinement.
It stems from an incident that was unveiled when a good Samaritan picked up a 35 year old woman around 1:30 a.m. on Thursday morning who they took to the hospital for treatment.
The victim reports she was forcibly confined between 2 and 4 p.m. the afternoon before, on Wednesday, and beaten up, in the 300 block of Avenue W South. She was able to get away.
Meanwhile, police are asking anyone with information regarding another forcible confinement and assault to call them or contact Crime Stoppers.
Around 6:30 Monday evening, police were called to RUH where a 20 year old woman was receiving treatment after a good Samaritan picked her up in the 700 block of Avenue I South and took her to hospital. The victim in that case reported she was held at a home and assaulted by several people over a period of time.
