North Battleford RCMP say they continue to investigate a residential fire last Thursday that has been ruled a murder-suicide.
A 7 year old girl and an 11 year old boy were found dead inside the home in the 14-hundred block of 99th Street in North Battleford. A 39 year old woman was found dead outside of the home. She had been carried there by her common law partner who arrived moments before emergency responders.
RCMP say the Major Crimes Unit took the lead on the investigation after observing the injuries on the woman in the front yard. Their investigation has concluded that the woman, identified as Tammy Fiddler, was responsible for the death of her two children Tessa and Wesley Bryant.
Officers conducted over 30 interviews in addition to several neighbourhood inquiries from residents living close to the home. The scene of the fire was examined and forensic autopsies were conducted on Monday and Tuesday of this week.
