Saskatoon Police say a 40 year old man is charged with Mischief and accused of pointing a laser at the plane flown by the Saskatoon Police Service Air Support Unit. Around 2 a.m. Friday morning, officers report two green laser strikes.

They say they identified a suspect at a home in the 10 block of Barr Place in Saskatoon’s Fairhaven neighbourhood. Patrol officers made an arrest and seized a green laser.

Police are reminding the public that pointing a laser at a plane is extremely dangerous and can cause injury.
