Regina Police say that the investigation into the death of an 18 month old boy is now deemed suspicious and is being treated as a criminal investigation.
On Wednesday (Jun 10), around 10:15 a.m. police were sent to the 32-hundred block of Arens Road East to assist Emergency Responders. The injured toddler was taken to hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
Investigators with the Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit are working in conjunction with the Coroners Service to determine the circumstances of the death.
