The Saskatoon Police Service is investigating a robbery that occurred at 8:19 Saturday Morning.

A woman reports walking in an alley in the 1100 block of Ave W North when she was approached by a man. The man allegedly asked for her property and when she refused he produced a knife. There was a short struggle in which the woman received a minor injury to her hand. She was transported to hospital by Medavie Health Services for assessment.

The man fled the scene. He is described as wearing all black clothing.
