It’s almost a year since the first incident but Regina Police have now made 9 arrests in conjunction to what they describe as a series of violent offences. This dates back to July 7th 2019, September 19th, 2019 and October 31st of last year.
Last Thursday, Regina Police arrested members of what they allege is a Saskatchewan based street gang. Charges include Attempted Murder, Utter Threats and Extortion.
Six men aged 25 to 40 years were arrested as well as a 23 year old woman and 17 year old teen. A 33 year old woman is still wanted on an outstanding warrant.
Those charged include:
Forty year-old Ramie Louis Bellegarde of the Goodeve District faces eight charges: Instructing Commission of Offence for Criminal Organization [467.13 CC], Commission of Offence for Criminal Organization [467.12 CC], Attempt to Commit Murder [239(1)(a) CC] x 3, Uttering Threats [264.1(1)(a) CC] x 2, and Extortion [346(1.1)(b) CC].
Thirty-six year-old Thomas Adam Stevenson, of Regina, faces two charges: Commission of Offence for Criminal Organization [467.12 CC] and Attempt to Commit Murder [239(1)(a) CC].
Twenty-five year-old Taylor Jay Keshane, of Regina, faces three charges: Commission of Offence for Criminal Organization [467.12 CC] and Attempt to Commit Murder [239(1)(a) CC] x 2.
Twenty-eight year-old Kelly Leo Lonethunder, of Regina, faces two charges: Commission of Offence for Criminal Organization [467.12 CC] and Attempt to Commit Murder [239(1)(a) CC].
Thirty year-old Justin James Papequash, of Regina, faces two charges: Commission of Offence for Criminal Organization [467.12 CC] and Attempt to Commit Murder [239(1)(a) CC].
Thirty-two year-old Glenn Travis Sutherland, of Regina, faces two charges: Commission of Offence for Criminal Organization [467.12 CC] and Attempt to Commit Murder [239(1)(a) CC].
Twenty-three year-old Elizabeth Marjorie Pascal, of Regina, faces two charges: Commission of Offence for Criminal Organization [467.12 CC] and Attempt to Commit Murder [239(1)(a) CC].
The 17 year-old youth, who cannot be named in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act, faces two charges: Commission of Offence for Criminal Organization [467.12 CC] and Attempt to Commit Murder [239(1)(a) CC].
Thirty-three year-old Misty Shay Taypotat of Regina is wanted on an outstanding warrant for Participation in Activities of a Criminal Organization .
