Federated Co-op and Unifor Local 594 have reached a tentative deal.
According to a news release, the deal includes monetary aspects of the final offer proposed in March.
Unifor members still have to approve the contract via ratification vote.
FCL says they are hopeful workers will ratify the deal, adding they will begin the process of welcoming hourly employees back to work as soon as the deal is ratified.
The lock-out started on December 5th of 2019. Over the more than six months during the lock-out, several Unifor members were arrested or ticketed during their blockades. It has been considered one of the most acrimonious labour disputes in Saskatchewan’s history. (CKRM)
