Five men from Ontario and Quebec are facing numerous charges in Saskatoon in connection to a drug trafficking investigation with 2 home searches. Around 9 o’clock last night (Tues), Saskatoon Police officers from the Drug Unit and the Tactical Support Unit executed a high risk search warrant in the 1600 block of Main Street East. Five men between the ages of 22 and 32 were arrested without incident. Police say cash, cocaine and fentanyl were seized.
Then a second search warrant was executed at a home in the 200 block of Pinehouse Place. No one was home, but officers allege seizing more fentanyl. In total, $17,500 was seized, almost 50 grams of fentanyl, almost 55 grams of powder cocaine, 9 grams of crack cocaine, $2,000 of counterfeit U.S. money and other items consistent with drug trafficking.
