It was just before nine o’clock Monday morning that a man in Kaslo B-C, outside with his dog, heard a woman cry for help. He found her pinned beneath her passenger vehicle off the roadway. She had tried to push her vehicle off the road when she ran out of fuel, lost control, and became trapped. That was at about eight o’clock the night before. Emergency crews rushed to the scene and successfully got the woman out. She was airlifted to a regional hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries. Kaslo is about 330 kilometers east of Kelowna.
