RCMP officers from Tisdale, Hudson Bay, Melfort, and Prince Albert Police Dog Services flew into action Wednesday afternoon when they were told of a man who was on his way to shoot family members in the Tisdale area. Officers converged on the area, secured the family, and then quickly located their suspect. The 37 year old was arrested without further incident. He is in Melfort Provincial Court Thursday on several charges including Uttering Threats, Assault with a Weapon, and Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Weapon. Police are asking that anyone with information on the case, contact Humboldt RCMP or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
