Because of COVID-19, the YMCA of Saskatoon summer day camps had to move online, but a couple of in-person options have now been added because the provincial government has widened the parameters more about what can and can’t open.
Child and Youth Director, Jamie McCulloch, says along with the virtual program there will now be 2 in-person programs, Y PARK and Super Summer Day Camp.
The Super Summer Day Camp is an indoor camp at the YM building in downtown Saskatoon and Y PARK is outdoors.
The activities will include soccer, karate, arts and crafts and zumba.
McCulloch stresses that all safety protocols including physical distancing will be taken into consideration.
The summer programming begins July 7th and runs through August 20th.
