The Saskatoon Fire Department arrived to a home in the Silverwood Heights early Sunday afternoon in less than 4 minutes after multiple 911 calls about a home in the 100 block of Stechishin Crescent on fire.
The Fire Department reports that emergency crews could see smoke coming from the home.
Everybody in the home had evacuated and was uninjured.
The fire was in the basement and about 40 minutes after arriving, it was considered to be under control, with no extension beyond the basement.
The fire investigator is working on the cause and origin of the fire and the damage estimate is around $150-thousand.
