An eviction in Kindersley ended up with the RCMP Explosives Disposal Unit being called in. On Monday, RCMP were asked to assist the Sheriff’s Department with an eviction from an apartment on West Road. The 67 year old male tenant was taken hospital by crisis workers for treatment of a pre-existing condition. RCMP members found firearms, ammunition, and a suspicious object which prompted the call to the Disposal Unit and the evacuation of the building. Tenants were allowed back in once a search of the premises was completed. The investigation continues. No charges have been laid.
