There was an incident at Rideau Hall Monday morning. RCMP and Ottawa Police closed off several roads leading to the hall. The National Division of the RCMP say at about 6:40, an armed man was able to access the grounds of 1 Sussex Drive. The Prime Minister and the Governor General were not present at the time. The man was arrested without incident. Police say he is in custody and being interviewed. Charges are pending.
