A 15 year old girl is dead after being struck by a car in the Village of Debden. It happened Tuesday at about 3:30 in the morning on 2nd Avenue. The victim was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries but passed away. A 17 year old boy has been identified as the driver. The investigation continues by the Big River RCMP with assistance from an RCMP Forensic Reconstructionist. Names have not been released.
