Little Red River Park, near Prince Albert, is still open…but it cannot be accessed through the main entrance to the park off Highway 55.

With the Spruce River’s water levels continuing to rise, the decision was made to close the main entrance to Little Red River Park until further notice. Access to the park is still available through the upper flats and north parking lot. The Water Service Agency has removed stop logs on Anglin Lake which feeds the Spruce River. The W-S-A indicated that flooding downstream from Anglin Lake, including Little Red River Park, was possible in the near future. The main entrance will be re-opened when monitoring of the situation shows that the threat has passed.
