Saskatoon Police were called to a residence on the 19 hundred block of McKercher Drive just after eight o’clock Tuesday night, after a report of a man walking around with a handgun. Police say they were able to successfully de-escalate the situation, arresting a 61 year old man. The handgun and several other firearms were seized. No one was hurt. The suspect is facing six firearm related charges and is to appear in Provincial Court on Wednesday.
