RCMP are trying to track down those responsible for ransacking a pharmacy in La Ronge and stealing a large amount of prescription narcotics.

The break in occurred shortly after 4 a.m. on Monday morning in the 800 block of La Ronge Avenue. The drugs were stolen from a locked medical cabinet.

La Ronge RCMP are advising the community and surrounding areas of the potential for the prescription narcotics to affect the health of anyone who illegally buys them or consumes them, without a doctor’s prescription.
