Statistics Canada says retail sales in Saskatchewan in May were up about 15 per cent. Nationally, sales were up about 19 per cent. All of the provinces were in positive territory. Compared to a year ago, sales were down about 11 per cent here and about 18 per cent nationally. In the year-to-year category, sales were down in every province. Total sales in Saskatchewan in May came in at about $1.5 billion.
