Western Development Museums are opening up in August. WDM North Battleford, WDM Yorkton and WDM Moose Jaw open to the public on August 12th.
Western Development Museum Saskatoon will reopen for member and volunteer visits on the same day but won’t open to the public until August 19th.
The openings also come with changes in hours. In addition from 11 to noon Wednesday through Friday, that hour will be reserved for senior citizens and anyone vulnerable to COVID-19.
All public programming and summer events remain cancelled and the short line train at the WDM in Moose Jaw remains closed. The Western Development Museums are also not accepting artifact donations.
Visitors are encouraged to wear masks and you will need to provide contact information upon arrival in the event contact tracing is necessary. Hand sanitizing stations are also in multiple locations.
