The province says a new highway intersection safety improvement gets underway this summer at the south end of Davidson on Highway 11. This is the second year of the government’s five-year $65 million enhancement of safety at key intersections. At Davidson, crews will build two acceleration lanes at the junction of Railway Street just south of Davidson. The work is expected to begin in August and be completed in September.
There is another Safety Improvement Program designed to reduce the frequency and severity of collisions on Highway 155 in Buffalo Narrows, Highway 14 east of Biggar, and Highway 20 at Lumsden.
