Lloydminster RCMP say Highway 16 has reopened in both directions and lanes are no longer closed. RCMP closed a portion of Highway 16 in the City Wednesday morning to conduct a search warrant at a residence. Both sides of the highway were closed with traffic in both directions rerouted.
Residents in the area will still notice an increased police presence and are advised to follow the direction of the officers on scene or to avoid the area until the investigation is complete.
