The City of Saskatoon ended 2019 with a surplus of $518-thousand dollars compared to a deficit of over $3-million in 2018.
The 2019 financial report has been released.
The city’s fiscal year is January to December, so it doesn’t include any numbers from the pandemic.
The report says there was a combined operating and capital investment of over $1.1-billion in 2019.
Capital budget investment was $260.4-million.
Consolidated operating revenues were just over $951-million including.
The report cites revenue sources that include over $453-million in user charges, over $269-million in taxes and over $89-million in government transfers.
