This year would have marked the 135th edition of the Saskatoon Ex, because of COVID-19 Praireland Park was forced to cancel for the very first time in fair history. However, this weekend residents will get the change to experience a “Taste of the Ex”.
Manager of Special Events, Susan Kuzma says starting Friday and going until Sunday there will be a drive thru for popular food vendors that would have been at the fair.
She says there will be four pickup times starting at noon and ending from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Orders must be made on line ahead of time, as there will be no cash or walk-up orders available. After ordering people will be able to drive through the front gates at the pickup times and get their tickets scanned.
Kuzma says there absolutely will be Spud Nuts, as well as food items like corn dogs, poutine, caramel apples, candy apples, and candy floss.
