You can go to a drive-in and be inspired by local businesses and their efforts in response to COVID-19.
That’s the format this year for the NSBA’s sixth annual Popcorn and Entrepreneurship series.
Executive Director Keith Moen says when the pandemic hit, they shelved their original plans where one business is highlighted, and instead chose 3 businesses that have had to change the way they do things because of COVID-19.
It was also a pivot for the NSBA because holding the event would have to be adapted, and that’s why this year’s Popcorn and Entrepreneurship series is drive-in style at Prairieland Park.
Moen considers the efforts of Pine View Farms, Tiny EYE Therapy Services and 9 Mile Legacy Brewing Company inspiring, and hopes it will help others to think outside the box.
He says thousands of businesses have had to respond in new ways because of the pandemic.
