This is Child and Youth in Care Week in the province. The Saskatchewan Youth in Care and Custody Network empowers young people to use their experiences in care to set and achieve their goals and promote positive change in the system. The province provided the Network with funding of nearly $183 thousand this fiscal year. The Network works with people between the ages of 14 and 24 who are currently or have been in government care, either foster care or in custody.
