Saskatoon Police say two people were arrested, charged and are in court today after officers were called out to a break and enter in progress over the weekend where the assailants allegedly pointed a gun at police.
Police say the person inside a home in the 16-hundred block of Avenue B North was beat up by two suspects who broke in around 12:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. They were still there when officers arrived and when one officer rounded the corner at the back of the home, a suspect was allegedly standing on the deck pointing a firearm at the officer.
- Two people were eventually convinced to exit and a sawed off rifle was seized after a search warrant was executed. A 20 year old man and a 17 year old female are facing charges.
