A 30 year old Regina man has been charged in connection to an investigation into a weapons offence after 2 vehicles almost collided last Thursday.
Regina Police say around 5:20 in the afternoon, officers responded to the incident in the 13-hundred block of Argyle Street and were told that after the close call, 1 of the drivers honked their horn to tell the other driver to stop and then the other driver produced a firearm and pointed it at the other vehicle.
The investigation led to a search warrant at a home, where police allege a firearm, ammunition, a large amount of cash and evidence of drug trafficking were found.
30year old Mursal Abukar Hagi is facing firearm-related charges including tampering with the serial number of a gun, unauthorized possession, and possession of a restricted firearm with ammunition.
