An unusual build is underway on the 100 block of Thode Avenue in Willowgrove. Big Block Construction is living up to its name in the construction of a Net Zero/Net Zero Ready, multi-unit residential building. It’s a modular build with each module built off-site in a factory and then assembled on-site. It’s then hoisted into place by a big crane that stacks modules on top of each other. With this process, a 12-plex can be assembled in a day.
