Saskatoon Police would like to speak to the numerous people who fled the scene of the city’s 9th homicide which occurred Friday morning around 3 a.m. at a restaurant/bar in the 200 block of Slimmon Road.
A 30 year old man was taken to hospital where he was pronounced deceased. An autopsy has confirmed he died of a gun shot wound. No name is being released at the request of his family.
Police say their investigation revealed that people who began to leave the establishment at closing time got into a fight which resulted in the victim begin shot.
Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying and speaking with anyone who was there Thursday night into Friday morning, to call Saskatoon Police and ask to speak with a Major Crimes Investigator or call Crime Stoppers.
