The Saskatoon Police Service is reminding everyone to be careful who you give your personal information to.

Scammers posing as Canada Revenue Agency employees are misleading people into paying false debt or CERB benefits. The Police Service says it has received a high number of complaints regarding these CRA phone calls and CERB benefits.

The advice is that the CRA will never demand payment by Interac, bitcoin, or prepaid gift cards and will never use aggressive language or threaten you that you will be arrested or police will be sent to your door.
