There’s still three weeks left until fall officially arrives, but Monday morning some parts of west central and southwestern Saskatchewan dipped below the freezing mark.
Val Marie was the coolest at minus 3, while Rosetown and Kindersley both dipped to minus 1. Saskatoon dropped to three degrees.
Environment Canada’s Terri Lang says frost should stay away for the rest of the week thanks to some active weather.
We are going to see wind. And Lang says, wind mixes the lower atmosphere and doesn’t allow those colder temperatures to form.
