SaskTel has a planned outage affecting a long list of northern communities from midnight until around 6 Tuesday morning.
That means no SaskTel internet, wireless or landline service during that time.
The Saskatchewan RCMP says there will be no way to reach 911 in the area so anyone who needs the police will have to go to a local Detachment, and they will stay open until the phone services are re-established.
The Detachments are in Montreal Lake, Waskesiu, Wollaston Lake, South End, Pinehouse, Stanley Mission, Black Lake, Fond du Lac, La Ronge and Sandy Bay.
Here is the complete list of affected communities:
Brabant Lake, Besnard Lake, Black Lake, Cigar Lake, Collins Bay, David Lake Rapids, English Bay, Fond-du-Lac, Geikie River, Hall Lake, Island Falls, Key Lake, Lac La Ronge, La Ronge, McArthur River, McLennan Lake, Montreal Lake, McClean Lake, Molanosa, McPhee Lake, Missinipe, MacKay Lake, Pinehouse, Ramsay Bay, Sandy Bay, Stanley Mission, Stony Rapids, Sucker Lake, Sucker River, Thunder Hills, Timber Cove, Wadin Bay, Waskesiu Lake, Weyakwin, and Wollaston Lake.
