A 52-year-old man has been charged with mischief over $5,000 following an incident at a downtown Saskatoon business on Wednesday afternoon. Around 4 p.m. Wednesday, Saskatoon Police went to a business in the 200 block of 2nd Avenue South where a man had entered and claimed to have an explosive device. The suspect was arrested without incident and the device was secured as officers made sure that everyone in the building was able to safely exit without being injured. Police later found the device was not a risk to public safety.
