The province is spending nearly $1.8 million on university research projects. The money will go into nine projects at USask and five at the University of Regina. Minister Responsible Tina Beaudry-Mellor says, “Our investment helps provincial institutions leverage additional project funding from other sources.” She says, in this case, that means an additional $3.4 million.
There is no word on what, specifically, the province is putting money into.
