The Saskatchewan RCMP responded to two separate fatal collisions on Saturday night.
Around 3:50 a.m. Stanley Mission RCMP responded to a complaint of a single vehicle collision on Highway #915 approximately 15 kilometers south of Stanley Mission.
There were five occupants in the car all adults from Stanley Mission, A 36-year-old woman, who was a passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene. All other occupants were transported to hospital with unknown injuries.
Then around 5:45 a.m. Canora RCMP responded to a complaint of a single vehicle rollover (truck) on Whitesand Drive near the community of Canora, an RCMP Collision Reconstructionist, Canora Fire and Canora EMS also attended. The lone occupant of the vehicle, a 22-year-old man from Norquay, was pronounced deceased at the scene. An RCMP Collision Reconstructionist, La Ronge Fire, La Ronge EMS and La Ronge and Stanley Mission RCMP all attended the scene.
The investigation to both collisions are ongoing. Names of the deceased will not be released.
