Saskatoon Police responded to a report of a suspicious package at the airport around 10:30 this morning (Mon). At the time, all flight operations were temporarily suspended and the public was asked to delay going to the airport until further notice.

An electronic item that appeared suspicious had been found in a passenger’s luggage. The Police Explosive Disposal Unit removed the item, and cleared the scene. No charges were laid. The Saskatoon Airport Authority announced all operations returned to normal at 1 PM.
