There are misconceptions that family doctors stopped working during the pandemic, and still aren’t seeing patients. The Saskatchewan College of Family Physicians says, despite the pandemic, patients can still have their health concerns addressed by doctors either by phone, video chat, or in-person. College President Doctor Myles Deutscher says, “While there are still active cases of COVID in Saskatchewan, they are not burdening the health system by seeking care.”
