Residential construction investment in Saskatchewan was unchanged in July from the month before. The rest of the provinces were all showing increases according to Statistics Canada. The national average was a rise of 4.9 per cent. Total investment in Saskatchewan hit $156.7 million.
On the non-residential side, investment in this province was off six per cent in July. Only New Brunswick saw a larger decline and only Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador saw an increase. Nationally, the numbers were off 3.7 per cent. Total investment in Saskatchewan in July came in at $98.6 million.
