Statistics Canada says sales in the food services and drinking places subsector increased for the third consecutive month in July, up 17 per cent compared to the month before. When compared to the same month a year ago, sales were down 24.5 per cent. In Saskatchewan, sales were up about 11 per cent compared to June and down about 13 per cent from July 2019. The biggest increases in month-to-month sales were in Quebec, up 32 per cent and Ontario up 23 per cent.
