Saskatoon Police are searching for two men after an assault around 9:30 last night (tues) at a grocery store on the 15 hundred block of 8th Street East. Police were told a man had been stabbed. A 34 year old man was found with minor injuries. He said he had just parked and exited a delivery van when two men demanded his wallet and threatened him. Police say the victim was struck by one of the suspects with a sharp object before they fled. A canine track was unsuccessful in finding them. The victim was taken to hospital by Medavie Health Services. Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
