Tuesday afternoon, Rosetown Combined Traffic Services tried to pull over a vehicle for speeding on Highway 14 near Perdue, but it fled, hitting speeds over 143 kph.
Warman RCMP Detachment became involved as the vehicle headed towards Saskatoon. Even though the vehicle was not being pursued police say their speed reached over 170 kph. Saskatoon Police then got involved as the air unit located the suspect vehicle. The vehicle was north of Langham when RCMP utilized a spike belt which was successful in deflating the tires. The three occupants fled on foot but were rounded up by RCMP with the help of Corman Park Police.
25 year old Theron Fox and 19 year old Tanisha Taniskishayinew are facing several charges including Resist Arrest and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose. Charged are pending against another male.
