A person who stole a car and hit another vehicle with the stolen car is still at large from the Saskatoon Police Service.
Just before 8 p.m. on Friday, a canine officer saw a brown Toyota Camry leave a restaurant in the 100 block of 33rd Street West and go through a stop sign. When the officer tried to stop the vehicle, the driver refused, then struck another vehicle at the corner of 36th Street and Avenue D…after the officer had discontinued trying to stop the vehicle. But, the officer did see the driver leave, what turned out to be a stolen vehicle, and flee the area on foot. Nobody in the vehicle that was struck by the stolen car was injured.
