Usually Fraud Prevention Month is held in March, but it was postponed, just like everything else, because of the pandemic.
This year, the Saskatoon Police Service says they will be highlighting fraud awareness this month instead.
As part of it, 2 large, locked bins are in the front lobby of Saskatoon Police Headquarters for the rest of the month.
Anyone can drop off personal documents to be shredded by Shred-it Saskatoon.
Then on Thursday, October 29th between 2 and 6 p.m., the Electronic Recycling Association will set up at the Police Service Headquarters with equipment to destroy personal electronics such as hard drives and cell phones.
