A Saskatoon man has been arrested, charged and appeared in court once following a child pornography investigation by the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation unit.
Thirty-one-year-old Brandon Crowe was arrested Monday, charged with three counts of possession of child pornography, two counts of distributing child pornography and a single count of making available child pornography. He appeared Monday in Saskatchewan Provincial Court, was released on numerous conditions and is scheduled to appear again on October 21st. The Saskatchewan ICE Unit started an investigation in May of 2020 on a person using multiple online accounts to share child pornography through a popular social media chat application. The Saskatchewan ICE Unit seized a mobile phone during a search of a Saskatoon residence on July 9th. The cell phone was found to have evidence of the offences following a forensic analysis.
