Statistics Canada says the unemployment rate declined for the fourth consecutive month in September, falling 1.2 percentage points to 9%
In Saskatchewan the unemployment rate fell from 7.9 per cent in August to 6.8 per cent in September.
In the Saskatoon census metropolitan area the unemployment rate fell from 10.8 per cent to 9.2. In the Regina cma, the rate fell from 9.3 to 7.4.
